    President Biden Addresses Hostage Situation in Gaza. No Americans Released

    President Joe Biden recently addressed the ongoing hostage situation involving over 200 individuals held by the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza. While some hostages have been released, there is growing concern and uncertainty surrounding the fate of American citizens among them.

Many have sounded the alarm on why they let this happen… In a recent development, Hamas released 24 hostages as part of a broader agreement with Israel. This deal aimed to secure the freedom of 50 women and children held in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. Among the hostages released, 13 were Israeli citizens, while the majority were Thai nationals.

    Notably, President Biden confirmed that no Americans were among the initial hostages released by Hamas. This revelation raises concerns about the well-being of American citizens held in Gaza.

    When asked about the timeline for the release of American hostages, President Biden’s response was somewhat unclear and left room for interpretation. He stated, “We don’t know when that will occur, but we’re gonna expect it to occur.” Additionally, he mentioned, “We don’t know what the list of all the hostages are and when they’ll be released, but we know the numbers that are going to be released. It is my hope and expectation that it will be soon.”

    The lack of concrete details and the ambiguity in President Biden’s remarks have added to the uncertainty surrounding U.S. efforts to secure the release of American citizens held by Hamas. Furthermore, the President indicated that he believed Hamas’s October 7th attack on Israel might have been motivated by his efforts to facilitate a peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
