California squeezed the rich so hard that they popped all the way to Texas. Only 200,000 taxpayers in California (of 39 million population) now fund 1/2 of the state budget. Over 1 million taxpayers ran away from California last year, fleeing to states with a bit more common sense. California is replacing those taxpayers with illegal fake refugees that will be a constant drain on state resources. Enjoy your virtue signaling in California. – Wall Street Silver
California is going bust, turning a $100 billion surplus to a $68 billion deficit in just 2 years — with another $87 billion to come. In return, Californians got homeless encampments, broke-down windmills, and Mad Max cities where Kleenex boxes need to be locked up. The few remaining taxpayers are running away, replaced by imported wards of the state.

California’s record deficit is the handiwork of our governor. As Californians wake up to Gavin Newsom’s economic disaster, they are voting with their feet, houses, and businesses and moving elsewhere.

- California is going bankrupt. Because it turns out you can’t eat virtue-signaling. In just 2 years, they turned a $100 billion surplus into a $68 billion deficit. Partly because they delayed taxes to give the IRS more time to audit Californians, then pretended the delay never happened and spent all the money. And partly because the bozos who run California are engaging in a controlled demolition of what was once America’s richest state. FX Hedge
- California had a $100B surplus two years ago. It now has a $68B deficit because people who pay taxes left and illegal immigrants replaced them. As a result, an $87B additional deficit is projected which will put the state $155B in the hole next year. Gavin Newsom did this. Paul A S
